Join us for a guided nature walk on the UF campus to cultivate awe, compassion and well-being.Thursday, October 30 · 5:45 - 6:45pm EDT
Location: Field & Fork Farm and Gardens,
1062 Museum Road
Gainesville, FL 32603
We will gather in front of the brick building to start our walk together. We will stroll around the UF Field & Fork Farm & Garden and Lake Alice, explore the area, find wildlife, and use approaches from shinrin yoku, forest bathing, to feed the senses and promote feelings of awe, compassion, and well-being. This session will end as the sun sets, providing a perfect opportunity to stay to watch the bats at the UF Bat Houses after the session. This offering is free and weather-dependent. Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the brick building to the west of the UF Bat Houses.
