🌲The Wood County Prevention Coalition (WCPC) is hosting its 4th Annual FREE Nature Scavenger Hunt. 🍂

At McDonough Wildlife Refuge
2196 Rosemar Road
Vienna, WV 26105
⏰🗓️Friday August 7th starting at 10 am and the last group to enter the trails will be at 1:30 pm.
All are welcome to join the fun! ☀️
‼️PLEASE NOTE:
Every person that plans to attend the event MUST be registered individually.

🚗PARKING-- is available at the parking lot on Rosemar Rd. at Jackson Ball Fields, this is directly across from the entrance of McDonough Wildlife Refuge
📝REGISTRATION-- Please stop at the registration table upon arrival and for directions, pre-registration is preferred however, there will be paper registration forms at the event
🥾TRAILS-- groups can choose the short or long trail. Upon exiting, children receive a medal for participation
🧑🧑🧒🧒Parents/Caregivers are encouraged to walk with the children on the hike, however, this is NOT mandatory as the WCPC will have guides to assist the children on the trails.
🪀EXHIBITORS-- local agencies will be set up distributing information, trinkets, and offering activities for the kids to do
DOOR PRIZES-- prizes will be drawn every 5 minutes, be sure to check in with the DP table to see if you won!
📸PICTURES-- pictures will be taken during the event, if for safety reasons you do not want pictures taken, please be sure to clarify at the registration table and a special nametag will be given to wear during the event. If you do not have a tag, it is assumed that you do not have an issue with pictures
🍪🍕💦FOOD-- sack lunches and water will be provided to all attendees
If you plan to register multiple people, please note that upon finishing and submitting you will see a link to submit another response. There is no limit for the amount of people one person can register. Please be sure to register EACH person that plans to attend this event, adults this means YOU! 🫵
