Nature Rx: Mindfulness & Journaling in Nature

Join the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park for a mindful nature walk and journaling experience at Hines Hill Conference Center led by Dr. Joe Blanda! This program will begin with a mindfulness walk in the area surrounding the Hines Hill Conference Center.

Following the walk, participants will gather inside the conference center to reflect on thoughts and insights during a guided nature journaling session. The walk will be under one mile in length. Part of the walk may be on hilly or uneven terrain.

Additional Event Details

Parking/Directions: Parking is available at the Hines Hill Conference Center, 1403 W Hines Hill Rd, Peninsula, Ohio 44264. We will meet at the conference center.

What to wear/bring: Please wear closed-toed, sturdy shoes that you do not mind getting dirty if conditions are muddy. If you have a favorite journal, please bring it with you! We will have some simple journals available for all participants.

Weather: This is a rain or shine event, so please dress accordingly so that you are comfortable.

Cancellation Policy: In the case of severe weather (lightning, hail, heavy snow, storms, etc.) or unforeseen circumstances (staffing, park closures, etc.), we will cancel or postpone. Participants will be notified of any event changes via email as soon as possible.
