Mitchell Pruitt is the executive director of Ozark Bird Conservancy, a new nonprofit research organization focused on research, education, and outreach related to wild birds in our region. Mitchell is also a visiting assistant professor of ecology at the University of Arkansas. His research interests focus on birds of prey, how land use change affects bird distributions, and how humans and birds can best coexist.
