Nature Park Celebration
About this Event
Two decades ago, a few wonderful people picked up some rakes and trash bags at South Pasadena Nature Park... and started something that's never stopped. Since then, thousands of volunteers – maybe you, maybe your neighbor, maybe someone you've never even met – have each given their time, their sweat, and their Saturday mornings to make this park what it is today.
Now it's time to celebrate 20 years of volunteerism, all of it, all of you.
So come and join the party:
📅 Saturday, July 18
⏰ 8:30 – 11:00 am
📍 South Pasadena Nature Park
🥐 Snacks, drinks, good company, and a whole lot of park love
🪑 Bring your own chair
Whether you weeded only once or you're still out there every week, this celebration is for you. Come trade stories, meet fellow park people, and soak in everything we've built together.
Please register so we know how much food to bring
Can't wait to celebrate all of you and the park we've grown together, one volunteer hour at a time. See you there!

Back in 2008 when this picture was taken we didn't have a lot of people or a lot of plants. This young volunteer is now in college, I believe.
Now we have lots of both! Thank you to everyone who has helped out over the years.
