School-aged children are invited to meet at the Southern Forests Community Landcare Office at 1pm (opposite the Manjimup Wellness Centre) for an afternoon of nature journalling in the bush at the Manjimup Heritage Park (or indoors if raining). Learn more about our forests and the flora and fauna that live there! All equipment is supplied, bring a waterproof rug to sit on if weather is ok to be outdoors. Colouring-in pictures are also available indoors. Please book asap by contacting Wendy - [email protected] or text 0434811474 as spaces are limited. $10 per child, please bring cash payment, children will receive a nature journal to take home. Children must be supervised by an adult. Please dress appropriately for the weather at this time of year.

Surviving the Dry is the collective name for a series of five projects all designed to reduce the potential for community harm during times of drought by first building social resilience.
