Come join us for a fun and creative morning of nature journaling with artist/naturalist Val Webb! Val leads an online nature drawing community with 6,000 members in 49 countries.

This in-person event will take place at the beautiful Weeks Bay Reserve Tonsmeire Resource Center. Val will guide you through the process of capturing the beauty of nature through journaling and one of our naturalists/educators will guide a short nature walk for inspiration. No previous drawing experience necessary! You don’t have to be an artist to create a nature journal. Nature Journaling isn’t about creating a masterpiece. It’s about sitting down with nature, looking closely, and deepening your curiosity about the natural world. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and unleash your artistic side.

What to bring: Bring your own notebook/journal/colored pencils/writing utensils. Bring water. Sunscreen and a brimmed hat are also good to have; something to sit on (even a folded towel) is helpful.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult. This event is FREE.
