Nature Journaling Series (Youth/Family), Spring 2025

Join SCBG educator and naturalist, Allison Jones, for an introduction to the world of nature journaling. The practice of nature journaling has many benefits for all ages. It sharpens one’s observation and critical thinking skills, while developing connection to nature and reducing stress and anxiety. And, you don’t have to be an artist to do it!

Each month, we’ll explore various subjects and techniques through guided nature walks and lessons in nature journaling. Each class will focus on a different topic and build journaling skills and knowledge of the natural world. No experience is needed.

Time: 3:30-5 pm on Fridays, Feb. 7, Mar. 7, Apr. 11, May 2

Location: SC Botanical garden; Meeting locations will be communicated via email

Fee: $20/series for FRIENDS of the Garden Members, $40/series for non-members.
