About this Event
Nature journaling is the practice of making observations about different species within the natural world, and then recording the observations through art and writing. Think Charles Darwin! In the spirit of mindfulness, will begin and end the activity by checking in with our emotions and physical sensations, and the bulk of our time will be spent making our observations and drawing in our nature journals. We recommend downloading iNaturalist and eBird to gain more information about the species you will observe, and binoculars and magnifying glasses are encouraged. This walk will be led by Gabby Collins, a registered associate psychotherapist, certified California naturalist, and birder raised in Los Angeles.
Ticket price includes a new journal and art supplies will be available, but feel free to bring your own.
Note: Event will be rescheduled if rain is forecast.
