Nature Journaling at Meadowbrook
During this program, participants will be introduced to the basics of nature journaling—a simple yet powerful way to record what you see, hear, and feel in nature. Through guided prompts and quiet exploration time, you’ll practice noticing details, asking questions, and capturing your observations through words, sketches, and personal reflections.
No prior drawing or writing experience is needed—this program is about curiosity, not perfection. We’ll share techniques for slowing down, focusing attention, and building a personal journaling habit that can be continued anywhere, from your backyard to your favorite hiking trail.
All art materials will be provided, and a select number of journals will be available (please email [email protected] if you need assistance with supplying a journal). Feel free to bring your own favorite notebook and supplies. Come ready to explore, create, and see the natural world in a whole new way.
Please RSVP through the website to reserve your spot; space is limited.
Weather Policy: Rain or shine. Event will be cancelled in inclement weather. No rain date.
Amenities: Accessible outdoor restrooms and parking will be available. No potable water.
