Nature is Medicine
About this Event
The Los Cerritos Wetlands Land Trust invites you to "Nature is Medicine", an event focused on connecting our senses to the natural world. Studies show that spending time in nature significantly improves mental health by reducing stress and lowering anxiety. Taking a walk through nature, enjoying the sounds of birds and looking at greenery, helps our mind reduce overthinking and depression. Join us as we ground ourselves with yoga led by BR3ATH3 Joy with the introspective Hazel Montserrat, tag along with the expert birders from Amigos of Bolsa Chica to spot the birds and wildlife that depend on the wetlands, and get your hands dirty helping our partners at Tidal Influence propagate plants for our expanding wetlands!
