About this Event
$50 includes bird watching led by Rob Truglia and a delicious seasonal brunch.
I believe the New York Post once said "Millennials aren't getting married. They are birding." Although this event isn't about generational trends, we are subscribed to the agenda.
Truglia spent the summer leading bird walks with the Meat Rack Bird Club in Fire Island Pines, and is an avid urban birder. Whereas Andreas Joshua of The Aphrodisiac Kitchen hasn't looked through a pair of binoculars since he was a closested Boy Scout. This event is meant for both the novice birder and that one friend who says "did you hear that? It's an Eastern Bluebird."
Wake up early, wear something cozy, and join us at at Greenwood Cemetery, a stop-over habitat for over 185 species of migrating birds annually. If you have binoculars, bring them! If not, we will have a few pairs for the group to share. Brunch will be served at 10:30 am -- with local and seasonal produce. The meet up location will be sent the night before. If you cannot pay the $50 ticket, as always I offer a pay-what-you-can-ticket option. Please DM me. Tickets are limited.
