Nature Fun-Day: For the Love of Nature

"What do you love about nature?"

For all of us, nature plays an important role in our lives and for many of us, it even has a special place in our hearts. Many of us love nature for different reasons; for the birds, the reptiles, the plants, recreation, and even for the peace we can find within nature itself!

On this Nature Fun-Day, "For the Love of Nature," our volunteers will share with you all what they love about nature. Each station/booth will be uniquly adapted to the parts of nature that they love. Our volunteers will share what they are passionate about within our natural world with the help of a craft and/or activity. So come learn, create, bring your valentine, and discover why we love our natural resources, and why you should too!

Date & Time : Saturday, February15th, 9:30am-12:00pm

Location: The flexi-pave trail leading out from the Discovery Center. Around the picnic pavilions. (If rain is forecasted the morning of the event, stations will be move into the Nature Center.)

Tickets & Sign-Ups: No sign-up required, but is highly recommended to help for planning purposes.
