Nature+ Film Premiere: Restoring Landscapes, Strengthening Communities
About this Event
Restoring Landscapes, Strengthening Communities
A Nature+ film of regeneration, transformation, and promise
"We have a problem..."
"The hillsides used to be so covered with trees..."
Across landscapes and communities in Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe, smallholder farmers are facing threats to their landscapes and livelihoods, fueling environmental degradation and food insecurity.
But in just two years of Nature+ programming, early signs of transformative change are breaking through dry ground.
In our new short film, Restoring Landscapes, Strengthening Communities, you’ll meet farmers, project leaders, and other community members working together through Nature+ to protect their landscapes and livelihoods against the impacts of climate change. You’ll see the beginnings of the regeneration of the land and its abundance, the transformation of livelihoods and landscapes, and the promise of a better future for people and ecosystems.
After the film, a panel of experts will provide further insights on what we can learn from these first three years and how we can ensure the work continues to its full potential for lasting change.
Light refreshments and fellowship to follow.
