Nature Fest is back for a fun, fast-paced day of nature exploration at Oxbow Meadows. Join us from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for hands-on activities for all ages, including meeting local environmental organizations, making crafts, learning about honey bees, exploring native plants, trying your hand at paper-making, tackling hands-on environmental engineering challenges, and playing outdoor games.Then stick around from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for a live reptile show with Jason Clark or Southeastern Reptile Rescue, featuring up-close animal encounters and fascinating reptile facts.
Come celebrate the natural world with us in a shorter, family-friendly format that still packs in plenty of discovery.
Cost:
$8 adults and children
2 and under free
Tickets: oxbow.columbusstate.edu
Food will not be available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it at our picnic tables.
