Join the City of Cockburn's Sustainability and Climate Change team for a morning of exploration at Brandwood Reserve.These school holidays, come along and discover the beauty of this pocket bushland in the heart of Leeming. October is the perfect time to enjoy spring wildflowers, meet the community, and learn what makes this special place thrive.
Find us at the Nature Discovery Day marquee, near the playground.
What’s on:
- 8.30am-9.30am: Guided walk (registration required)
- 9–12pm: Free coffee from the Friends of the Community coffee van
- 9.30am-10.30am: Nature storytime trek (registration required)
- 10am–12pm: Free Nature Art with artist Ariane Roemmele
- 10.30am-11.30am: Boodjar Biddi (Bush Track) cultural walk (registration required)
- 12-1pm: Wildlife Experience (registration required)
- All morning: Self-guided wildflower trail and colouring-in and games
Spaces for activities are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. If sessions are booked out, please contact the City to join the waitlist.
