This volunteer-led group have their own whatsapp group to keep everyone up to date. They meet from September through until end June on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month (unless weather forecast is terrible). It is perfect for anyone interested in taking practical action on Nature Recovery and Climate. Meet in the faryard at 1:50 ready for a 2pm start.
Activities range from tree planting in the dormant, wetter months; weeding and mulching in the Spring and Summer as well as seed collection and propagation in the tree nursery.
This group are supported by The Forest For Cornwall and local Ecologists. You can hear more about what they are learning and gain top tips on 'which tree where' in the tree episode of our Twist and Sprout podcast.
