The Hannibal Arts Council and Hannibal Parks & Recreation are teaming up to offer a unique and inspiring workshop designed for art lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. The FREE Nature Art Journaling Workshop will take place at Hannibal Arts Council at 105 South Main Street on May 10 from 10am-noon, providing participants with a chance to connect with the outdoors while expressing their creativity through art.
The workshop is open to adults and youth (13 & up) of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced artists. All necessary materials, including journals, sketching supplies, and paint, will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own personal touch, whether it's a favorite pencil or special paintbrush.
In this hands-on workshop, attendees will explore the beauty of nature through the medium of art journaling. Led by Program Coordinator and arts educator, Beth Hinton and Gale Rublee of Hannibal Parks & Recreation, the event will guide participants through techniques in sketching, painting, and writing, all while drawing inspiration from the natural surroundings at Hannibal’s Riverfront parks.
