Join Margaret for a leisurely walk around Lakeside Country Park. Walking beside the lakes and along wooded paths.
A wonderful way to meet others in your community, improve your nature knowledge and to explore your local landscape. The walk leader will point out plants and wildlife of note along the way.
These walks are a wonderful opportunity to unwind, reconnect with nature, and boost your mental well-being. Spending time outdoors is proven to reduce stress, improve mood, and increase focus.
Plus, it's a chance to meet new people, share conversations, and enjoy the calming effect of being surrounded by nature.

We will meet: Outside the Lakeside Centre, Lakeside Country Park, Wide Lane, Eastleigh

By Bike: Lakeside Country Park is an easy cycle distance from the centre of Eastleigh along Desborough Road, Arnold Road and Ambassador Walk
By Bus: Bluestar 24 Closest stop Lakeside Country Park
By Car: There is 4 hour free parking available at Lakeside Country Park
Please wear suitable clothes for the weather and suitable footwear for walking on various surfaces, enclosed footwear recommended.
Bring along:
A bottle of water
Sunhat, sun glasses and suncream
Camera and or phone.
Please Note:
Walk grade: Medium - Be aware we will be walking through wooded areas that may have trip hazards i.e. uneven ground roots, walking by water i.e. lakes.
Who should attend: Adults and older children who enjoy walking and nature. the route takes you across uneven ground which is not suitable for pushchairs.
Child friendly: Yes. Any under 18s attending any of the activities must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
