FREE nature activity sessions for children under 5yrs and their adult!
Join our outdoor activity sessions for children under 5 years old with their parent/guardian. Get out in the fresh air, meet other like-minded local families, have fun and learn about the environment!
Activities may include:
- Finding out what willdlife lives there
- Learning about nature
- Nature crafts
- Planting/making bug homes etc
- Stories
- ‘Forest School’ activities
.... just generally enjoying being outside!!

Omnia green space (behind Omnia Practice & Yardley Green Medical Centre, 73/77 Yardley Green Rd, B9 5PU)

Extra information:
- Recommended for children between 18 months and school age.
- Children must remain accompanied & supervised by their adult.
- Open to everyone, not just surgery patients.
- Sorry, no dogs.
- Toilets & changing facilities can be found inside the Omnia surgery.
What to wear/bring:
Adults & children should be prepared for being outdoors and the weather!
- Comfortable clothing
- Warm layers if it's cold
- Waterproof coat with a hood
- Sun protection (e.g. hat & sun cream)
- Closed-toe footwear (e.g. old trainers or wellies).
You might want to bring a bottle of water in a small backpack and extra clothing in case you get a bit cold/wet/dirty.
