The year is wrapping up, and so are we here at the garden. For our last event, we will be hosting our friends with the Lee County Extension and the Lee County Master Gardeners as we make wreaths from natural materials! These fun creations originally began as the scraps from Christmas trees were given new life rather than being thrown away. In that same vein, we want to invite you to bring something from your year, maybe a shoelace, broken bracelet, an earring, that you can weave into your wreath and give it new life. Also, as it is the holiday season, we ask if you are able to bring a canned good, which we will be donating to local food banks. Can't wait to see you there!
Te invitamos a nuestro último evento del año, en el que nuestros amigos del Lee County Extension y los Lee County Master Gardeners nos ayudarán a hacer coronas navideñas con materiales naturales. Elaboraremos coronas con las sobras de árboles navideños y queremos extender esta tradición que simboliza esperanza y renovación. Te invitamos a traer algo roto (por ejemplo, una pulsera) para entrelazarlo en tu corona como símbolo personal.
También te pedimos que traigas un alimento enlatado que podamos donar para apoyar a nuestros vecinos en esta temporada.
