Join us all day or part of the day as we learn to make cold-processed soap, beeswax candles, Lip balm, body butter, household detergents, and more!š§¼Soap Making 101:
10AM-12PM
This class is an introduction to cold-process soap making in a 2-hour hands-on class. We will be making our classic soap bar made with organic and sustainably sourced materials that are as good for your body as they are for the earth.
You will leave class with:
a basic understanding of how to make cold-processed soap
your very own bar of soap made in class
There will also be options to purchase the soap we make in bulk at a discounted rate. Each block purchased comes with a 10-bar mold that you keep for your future soap making adventures. If you purchase a soap block, please bring a bath towel with you to keep the soap warm while it cures.
Soap Block (10 Large 4-oz bars): $80
We make a limited number of soap blocks in each class, so if you would like to reserve your soap in advance you may purchase ahead of time by adding on a soap block. Please note that the soap will need to cure. You will be able to unmold and slice your soap after 24 hours and use it after 4 weeks.
NOTE: Due to the use of lye in soap making we do not allow participants under the age of 13 in this class. Ages 13 and up can join under the supervision of an adult but will only be able to work hands-on with the oils, and unmolding and slicing of the soap. Please make sure to tie long hair up and wear close-toed shoes.

This class is a comprehensive class that will teach you how to make all five products listed (plus a few surprise products) from start to finish. We will learn to refine local beeswax and then us it and other sustainable ingredients to make these approachable homemade household products and save money on your groceries.
We will be making our laundry detergent with the soap we teach how to make in the morning class, Soap Making 101. Taking both classes together is recommended, but not required as you can also use soap you can purchase as a base.
You will leave this class with:
