Working with a professional model, participants will explore how to create compelling portraits using only available light in real outdoor conditions.
The session focuses on understanding light quality and direction, including how hard and soft light behave at different times of the day. You will learn to observe sun angle, use shade effectively, and work with natural reflectors such as sand, walls, and surrounding surfaces to shape light on the subject.
Emphasis will also be placed on model direction and posing to create natural expressions and confident body language. Camera settings, exposure control, and background management will be discussed throughout the shoot, helping photographers adapt quickly as light changes and capture strong, authentic portraits with depth and mood.
