About the Speaker
Dean Hay, Professional Forester-St. Petersburg, FL
Dean Hay is a professional Forester who has a demonstrated history of working in the environmental design industry. He is a strong systems and design professional with a Master of Landscape Architecture with a Green Infrastructure focus from the University of Michigan.
About the Natural History Speaker Series
The Natural History Speaker Series is a free community program featuring engaging presentations on the natural and cultural history of Florida by experts in their fields.
Each month, attendees hear from scientists, researchers, conservationists, educators, authors, and other professionals on topics ranging from native wildlife and ecosystems to archaeology, history, and environmental stewardship.
Presentations typically last about one hour and are followed by a question-and-answer session.
Registration is encouraged to help us plan for attendance.
If you're unable to attend in person, recordings will be made available on-demand in our Speaker Series Library and on YouTube.
