Natural Cold Process Soap Making Experience
About this Event
Join us for a relaxed, hands on soap making workshop where you'll learn how to make your own natural cold process soap from scratch.
Whether you've never made soap before or would like to build your confidence, this workshop will guide you through the process in a friendly and supportive setting.
Over the course of the session, you'll learn about the ingredients used in natural soap making, how each one contributes to the finished bar and how to safely make cold process soap at home.
You'll have the opportunity to choose from a selection of essential oils, natural clays and botanicals to create a soap that reflects your own style. At the end of the workshop, you'll take home your soaps together with the knowledge and confidence to make more yourself.
This workshop is also a chance to spend time with others, have good conversations and enjoy learning something new together. Many people come on their own, while others come with friends or family. Everyone is welcome.
During the workshop you will:
Learn the basics of cold process soap making.
Understand how natural oils, butters and other ingredients work together.
Learn how to work with lye safely and confidently.
Create your own batch of soap using natural ingredients.
Choose your own blend of essential oils, colours and botanicals.
Receive a printed recipe and step by step guide to use at home.
Ask questions throughout the session.
