Native Seed Cleaning
About this Event
Our long-term goal for this project has been to establish a native seed farm, giving us the ability to collect seed for future restoration and conservation projects, particularly in areas prone to disturbances such as wildfire and climate change.
The volunteer event will consist of cleaning native seed to ensure viability in long-term storage. Staff will provide training to ensure volunteers are using best practices. This activity is appropriate for ages 5 and up; anyone under the age of 18 will need a guardian present. This event will run from 9 am to 12 am.
