Native Plants Container Gardening Workshop

The workshop covers everything you need to know – container selection, soil tips, overwintering strategies, plant choices, and stunning container designs. After learning the essentials, participants will roll up their sleeves and craft their own container garden to take home. All materials are provided. Each participant should bring a pair of garden gloves and a hand spade.
*Paula Walter holds a degree in chemical engineering, which led to a professional career as a military analyst before her retirement. In retirement, she has devoted her time and expertise to environmental stewardship and education through extensive volunteer work with Heritage Conservancy, Snipes Farm and Education Center, Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, and the Penn State Master Watershed Stewards.
