Together, Sarah and Leah will share practical insights on incorporating native plants into your landscape—from annuals and perennials to trees and shrubs—while highlighting the vital role these plants play in supporting pollinators and local ecosystems. Drawing on their hands-on experience, they’ll discuss resources for native planting projects, including Lawns to Legumes grants, Bee City USA initiatives, and examples of successful local native gardens, as well as Sargent’s own native demonstration garden.
This presentation is ideal for anyone interested in creating healthier, more resilient landscapes that benefit pollinators and the environment. The session will last approximately an hour followed by a Q&A.
