*REGISTRATION FULL - Registration for this event filled up quite quickly with only 20 spots. Please email your full name, email and phone number to [email protected] to get on the waitlist. Thank you!Join Liz Myers-Chamberlin, environmental activist/educator and organic/regenerative gardener for a fun and educational “party” to learn about the biodiversity crisis and the solution advocated by Homegrown National Park of planting natives in our yards. We will start with a short movie, then plant some native seeds ourselves, using the Winter Sowing method. The hope is that everyone will go home with a few jugs of different types of sown seeds, all native to our bioregion, to plant in your garden or yard come Spring! All seeds (36 different ones to choose from), soil and supplies will be provided, but we would like to encourage everyone to save their own plastic jugs (ie: gallon milk or vinegar jugs) and bring those to the party.
