About this Event
Come join us at the Barefoot Medicine Farm for an afternoon filled with learning about the incredible power of native medicinal plants! Amy Boldt, clinical herbalist and owner, will take you on a journey through this botanical sanctuary listed by the United Plant Savers association. You'll learn all about medicinal native and at- risk plants that provide many healing qualities. If foraging and natural medicine is of interest to you, this is the place to be! Whether you're a seasoned herbalist or just curious about the natural world, this event is perfect for anyone interested in the benefits of plants. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn about the magic of plant medicine on an herb farm.
We'll be walking on paths through the woods and in open fields, so be prepared for a variety of terrain. Bring your notebook and your curiosity!
At the end there will be time for questions, shop the apothecary, and sample some of the herbs you'll be learning about.
Proceeds go toward the continued cultivation and preservation of native and at-risk plants.
*This is a rain or shine event!
GPS often takes folks to my neighbor's house. Please make sure you are arriving at 3302 Mail Rd in Westminster; the driveway has a Barefoot Medicine Farm sign next to it. Park up at the house off to the right (at an angle) to accommodate everyone. We will meet down in the apothecary. Follow the path off to the left and down to the patio area. Come on in through the sliding glass doors.
