City of Darwin is giving away thousands of native plants to help residents green and shade their backyards and increase canopy cover across the municipality in line with our Greening Darwin Strategy! Come along to our upcoming native plant giveaway event to collect your free plants and help green Darwin.
⏰ Time: 8:00am until 11:00am (or until all plants are gone)
We recommend arriving on time as these events are extremely popular and we will run out.
🌳🌿 There will be 2,000 native plants on offer, including grasses and groundcovers, shrubs and trees.
The giveaway is for Darwin residents only and proof of residence will be required. Please note that there is a limit of six plants per household.
