Native Plant Gardening 102: Rain Gardens

Do you have standing water or a temporary creek on your property after rain? If so, installing a rain garden may be an ecologically friendly way to reduce ponding water or temporary flooding on your property. Join Jefferson Co. Soil & Water Conservation District in a hands-on workshop where we will learn how to site and install a rain garden on your property. Plus, we will get to see what a flourishing rain garden looks like on-site at the Nature Center! Participants will leave with a design for their own rain garden and plants to get their garden started!
