In collaboration with Watermark Woods, Birch Tree Bookstore and Loudoun County Public Library, join Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy for the next Read! Plant! Grow! book club meeting at Birch Tree Bookstore and Foliage Plants in Leesburg. We will be discussing The Secret Network of Nature: Trees, Animals, and the Extraordinary Balance of All Living Things—Stories from Science and Observation by Peter Wohlleben. Peter describes the fascinating interplay between animals and plants and answers such questions as: How do they influence each other? Do life-forms communicate across species boundaries? And what happens when this finely tuned system gets out of sync?
