About this Event

First Native American Style Flute Festival in Apache Junction
Celebrating a Unique Instrument Loved Worldwide

The Apache Junction Public Library is hosting its first Native American Style (NAS) Flute Festival on March 1, 2025 from 9:30am to 4pm. In celebration of this unique instrument, the day will be filled with beautiful NAS flute music performed by 13 renowned southwestern flute players. This event is free and family friendly.

Attendees will hear flute music from some of the Southwest’s best players. Our performers include: Cindy Green, Celia Jose, Jonah Littlesunday, Karl Milbauer, Kenyon Morgan, Henry Nieves with Connie Delgado, Saggio, Howard Sadler, Pendleton Spicer, Wendy Thompson, Nathan Tsosie, Joe Yeatman, and Wind Spirit’s David Hyde and Greg Marek. You will also find vendors selling NAS flute related items and receive information on how you can learn to play the NAS flute. Local food trucks will be at the event.

Enjoy demonstratons, talks and presentations on multi-chambered flutes, drums, The Pine Ridge Flute Society, a variety of traditional flutes, and the merging of ancient technologies with quantum physics.

The Apache Junction flute group and the Apache Junction Public Library have partnered to bring live this event to the public. Inside the library, renowned flute players will begin playing at 9:30am and go through 4pm. Outside enjoy more flute music by local performers at the tent located behind the library. If you have a NAS flute, come play! If not, come enjoy the music! Come for an hour or spend the day. You will be delighted and inspired by the music. A fun and relaxing event for all.

The Apache Junction Public Library is located at 1177 N. Idaho Rd., Apache Junction, AZ.
