The History Department is pleased to announce a special opportunity to learn about museum curation and archaeological work, as well as Native American history! Saginaw’s Castle Museum staff will offer their time and talent to hold a round table for the Delta community—Native American Objects: Archaeology and Curation Round Table.Join chief curator, Sandy Schwan, and archaeologist, Jeffrey Sommer, for a roundtable talk about exhibit curation and archaeological field work considering the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. Attendees will also be given a tour of the Anishinaabek and Archaeology galleries at the museum.
