The Native American people of the Southwest created art in basketry, jewelry, textiles, wood, and pottery often using intricate geometric patterns that represented the world around them. Coming from the Pueblo of Isleta and Navajo people of the southwest, Native American artist Rowan Harrison will present a program about the visual representation and traditions that these people utilize in their cultural arts and crafts.
