Celebrate National Thrift Shop Day with Goodwill on August 14 & 15! Join us for a two-day community celebration across San Diego County as you visit Goodwill Retail Stores, Outlet Centers, and Community Employment Centers (CECs) to collect passport stickers, discover unique finds, enjoy special activities, and enter for a chance to win exciting prizes.
How It Works
Pick up your National Thrift Shop Day Passport at any participating Goodwill location.
Collect stickers by visiting different locations:
- ✅ 3 stickers from Goodwill Retail Stores
- ✅ 1 sticker from a Community Employment Center (CEC)
- ✅ 1 sticker from an Outlet Center
Turn in your completed passport to be entered into our Opportunity Drawing for a chance to win prizes!
What to Expect
As you visit participating locations, enjoy:
- Refreshments at select locations
- Curated thrift racks featuring special finds
- Upcycler tables at Outlet Centers
- Patch sewing on your clothing at Outlet Centers
- Fun community activities and thrifting inspiration

- All CECs open: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday, August 15
- Open: Midway, La Mesa, Chula Vista East, and Escondido
- Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- All other CEC locations will be closed
