Join us for our 3rd Annual Celebration of National Snake Day on Thursday, July 16th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM! 🐍
Each year, this special event is designed to foster awareness, curiosity, and respect for these often-misunderstood creatures. Snakes play a vital role in our ecosystem, and through hands-on, engaging experiences, we aim to help children build both knowledge and confidence in a fun, safe environment.
This year, we’re taking the experience to the next level. We’re thrilled to welcome The Lizard Lounge, who will be bringing a variety of live snakes for children to observe and gently handle. Their knowledgeable team will be on-site to share insights into snake care, discuss what it’s like to be a reptile owner, and answer questions—creating a meaningful, interactive learning experience for every child.
What to Expect:
• Live snake encounters with The Lizard Lounge
• Hands-on snake-themed sensory bins
• Educational snake models and learning tools
• Creative snake arts and crafts activities
• An additional hour of open play in our facility (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
We are proud to bring unique, educational opportunities like this to our community—experiences that inspire curiosity, encourage hands-on learning, and create lasting memories for little learners.
