I’m so excited to be hosting another Community Swap & Gather — this time in partnership with Calm + Confidence Co-Op for National Recycle Day!This free community event celebrates sustainability, recycling, and connection. Bring useful household items, clothes, or plants you’d like to swap or donate — bring as much as you’d like & take what you need! At the end of the day, everything left will be donated to The Van and Our House to support local neighbors in need.
We’ll have interactive booths where you can learn exactly what can and can’t be recycled here in Little Rock, meet local organizations doing incredible work, and get hands-on experience at our sewing and mending station — be sure to bring one article of clothing you’d like to learn to mend!
Before you leave, you’ll be able to pledge to recycle and live more sustainably, helping build a greener, more connected community.
It’s a fun, meaningful way to learn something new, meet your neighbors, and make a difference together!
