National Public Lands Day at California Trail Interpretive Center

Join us on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PDT at the California Trail Interpretive Center in Elko, Nevada, for National Public Lands Day.
The BLM Elko District will lead volunteer trail maintenance to clear overgrown brush and enhance the safety corridor along the hiking trail to help reduce wildfire hazards. A group picnic will follow on-site. Participants are encouraged to bring sturdy, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and water.
