🐴 The Wagon Train will drive down Main Street, loop around the traffic circle, come back down Main Street & enter Shafer Park through the main Shafer Park entrance. Boonsboro will have their own Wagon Train parade!! Wagon Train arrival times are as follows:
🐴 They will be on Main Street at 12 noon, and it will take them about 30-45 minutes to loop the circle & come back to the Shafer Park entrance.
🐴 They will be in Shafer Park by 12:30 – 12:45pm. Pony rides will be provided for children in the Park, as well as blacksmith and spinning demonstrations. Food items will be available to purchase from local non-profit groups.

With its strategic geographical location between the Allegheny Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains, Washington County played a key role in opening the West to our nation."
Authentic wagon trains pulled by horses and mules re-enact the travel during the 1797 development of the National Pike beginning in Clear Spring on Friday and ending with old fashioned activities in Shafer Park on Sunday, May 18th.
