Take a GWMP NPS Ranger led bike ride along the Mount Vernon Trail in honor of National Park Week.
About this Event

Join us in celebrating National Park Week! On Saturday, August 29, 2029 starting a 9 AM the George Washington Memorial Parkway will host a bike tour that will start from Jones Point Park and travel south to Fort Hunt Park. Along the way you will learn about the rich history of amazing sites along the south parkway, such as Belle Haven, Dyke Marsh, and Collingwood picnic area.

The ride will begin and end at Jones Point Park.

There is no rain date for this event.

Meet

8:30 a.m. near the bathrooms at Jones Point Park. We will roll out at 9:00 a.m.
