National Night Out in the Vandeventer Neighborhood

The Vandeventer Community Development Corporation informs residents and the public of new construction and street improvements, inviting them to attend National Night Out in the Vandeventer Neighborhood. Our party with a purpose fosters meaningful and lasting benefits for everyone involved," said Urban Planner Judith Arnold, who is the chief organizer of the event. “In addition to fun activities and refreshments, there will be presentations and information about AMICSTL, the "It's All About Delmar" traffic calming project, and the Page Avenue street renovation, Judith said. This year’s theme is Community Safety, Health and Wellness,” said Judith.

Attendees will enjoy:

• Food Truck Treats: Hot dogs, brats, nachos, drinks, chips, and ice cream.
• Live Entertainment: Second Nature Jazz 5 performance.
• Family Fun: Books, art, and games for children.

· Senior Focus: Free smoke detectors, foot massages, wellness tips, and gifts.

• Neighborhood Updates: On new construction, and street improvements to the community.
• Giveaways: Plenty of free goodies for everyone who attends

Judith Arnold went on to say, “National Night Out is more than just fun—it's about strengthening connections among neighbors and fostering trust and safety within the community. By combining good food and music with vital resources and community updates, the Vandeventer neighborhood is transforming this gathering into a true Party with a Purpose.
