It is that time of the year again when we are starting to plan our National Night Out (NNO) event. On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, the Middleton Police Department will be hosting our National Night Out. The event will be from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Middleton’s Lakeview Park, 6300 Mendota Ave.The National Night Out (NNO) event is an opportunity for communities nationwide to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention and neighborhood camaraderie.
Traditionally, National Night Out activities include, but are not limited to, cookouts, exhibits, safety demonstrations and youth events/games.
An essential component to the success of National Night Out is the involvement of civic groups and local businesses. We would like to extend an invitation for local community/public service-oriented organizations and its membership to participate. Participation may include monetary support, product donations, event promotions, exhibits and youth games/activities. Participation by your members, in whatever capacity possible, is appreciated.
If you are interested in participating, please let me know who all will be attending and what you will be offering (Ex. brochures, booth, promo items, activities, or games).
