Join the Newark Police Department and our other first responder partners for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6-8 pm as we come together to strengthen police-community partnerships and celebrate the neighborhoods that make Newark a great place to live, work, and visit.
National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes positive relationships between law enforcement and the residents we serve. The evening provides an opportunity for neighbors to connect with one another, meet members of the Newark Police Department, and enjoy a family-friendly night focused on safety, partnership, and community pride.
Residents, neighborhood groups, apartment communities, civic associations, and local organizations are encouraged to participate by hosting or attending a National Night Out event in their neighborhood.
Together, we can continue building a safer, stronger, and more connected Newark.
