Cleveland Families Connect with Police for Safer Communities at National Night Out at Steelyard Commons
Join us for Cleveland’s annual National Night Out celebration at Steelyard Commons! Held each year on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out brings families, neighbors, law enforcement officers, and community partners together for an evening of connection, conversation, and community building.
All five Cleveland Police Districts host National Night Out events across the city, welcoming residents and creating opportunities to build stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
For many parents, the event is also an opportunity to help children become more familiar and comfortable with local police officers. As one mother shared, she wants her children to interact more with law enforcement “so they’re not afraid.”
National Night Out is a yearly reminder that safer neighborhoods begin with trust, strong relationships, and community connection.
