National Night Out 2026

Our biggest night of the year is back! National Night Out is our annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships to make our neighborhoods safer, and to provide an opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
This is a completely free event, made possible by local businesses and organizations in Kettering who generously sponsor us each year. Please come hang out with us and enjoy free food, inflatables, a dunk tank featuring our very own officers, "touch a truck", face painting, a special visit from some superhero characters, Kona Ice Truck, raffle prizes, and more! You'll get the chance to meet officers at KPD who serve your community every day and get an inside look at our specialized units like SWAT, K9, Drone, dispatch, and more. Local businesses and organizations from our community and surrounding areas will have booths set up as well.
Free parking will be available along Lincoln Park, at the police department, or at Fairmont High School.
