National Night Out 2026
The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is proud to host our 6th Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center Midway, with FREE admission.
Come explore our specialized units—including the Bomb Squad, Special Response Team, K9 Unit, Drone Team, and Motor Unit—as well as our Mobile Command Center. Meet deputies, ask questions, and get a closer look at the tools and techniques used to serve and protect Cabarrus County.
Additional highlights include:
• Free hot dog meal (while supplies last)
• Crime-solving demonstrations with our Investigators
• Free Child ID Kits from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
• Connect with local community partners and non-profits to learn about available resources
• Animal Shelter booth with adoptable pets
• Face painting, crafts, and special appearances from local mascots!
National Night Out is a nationwide initiative in its 42nd year that focuses on strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community we proudly serve. It’s a chance for us to come together in a fun, welcoming environment that allows county residents and law enforcement to connect and build trust through positive interactions. The event is about making our resources more accessible, building trust, and showing how we’re here to support you—not just in emergencies, but every day.
