National Night Out 2025 will be held on Saturday, August 23rd. Child registration begins at 1:15pm-2pm. Any child registered to participate in the Field Day Events will receive a backpack full of school supplies (while supplies last). The kid's field day events will start sharply at 2pm and run until 4pm. Children in attendance will also be able to enjoy a couple of bouncy houses (2pm-6pm) provided by Tiverton Recreation, as well as free complimentary face painting from 2pm-5pm!

2pm: Water Balloon Toss
2:15pm: Wheelbarrow Race Relay
2:30pm: Tug-o-War
2:45pm: Potato Sack Race Relay
3pm: Cornhole Board Toss
3:15pm: Dizzy Izzy Relay
3:30pm-4pm: TPD/Kids team-up Whiffle Ball Game

TPD will have their dedicated group of volunteers fire up the grills between 3:30pm-6:30pm to provide a free hot dog, hamburger, bottle of water and bag of chips (limit 1 burger, 1 dog, 1 bottle of water, 1 bag of chips per person) for spectators and players alike (while supplies last)! The National Anthem and first pitch will happen between 4:30-5pm with the main event starting at 5pm! The main event will pose Tiverton Police Department versus the Tiverton Fire Department in our annual "Battle of the Badges" softball game to see who claims this year's title (yes, the fire department has taken the win two of the last three years). As always, it will be a fun day that exhibits Tiverton pride, as well as, community unity, so come on out and support your Tiverton police and fire departments!
*There will also be a Carnival Snack Station offering a bag of popcorn, cotton candy, and a sno-cone for a $5 donation per person (this is to assist with offsetting some costs for the event, so we appreciate your support).
*K9 Blue will be there from 2pm-4pm where spectators can take photos with Blue in Blue's "kissing booth" for a $5 donation (money raised from Blue's kissing booth is to assist with some the costs associated with caring for Blue).
