🇺🇸 A Historic Honor for Sand Springs 🇺🇸We are proud to celebrate a Mayoral Proclamation recognizing an incredible moment for our community—the upcoming visit of Jay Bowen, the National Trailing Commander of the American Legion, to The American Legion Billie A. Hall Post #17 on June 6.
Jay Bowen will serve as the National Commander of the American Legion for 2026–2027, and hosting a future National Commander is a rare and tremendous honor—not just for our Post, but for the entire Sand Springs community.
This visit highlights the strength of our Post, our Veterans Center, and our city’s deep commitment to serving Veterans and honoring their sacrifice.
